This is a Yamaha F250 3.3L 30” lower unit. This has the low water pickup. There is some confusion about the 3.3L lower units. THERE ARE 3 types- one has no low water pickup and no water tube for f225 engines, on has the water tube but no low water pickup for thenf250, and one has the water tube and the low water pickup. This is the one that has the low water pickup and the water tube, not for 225 models or not for the 4.2 L engines. The part number is 6p2-45300-51-8d. PLEASE ASK ABOUT PROPER FITMENT IF YOU ARE UNSURE.
This is a 25 inch shaft model. If you don't know your shaft length, look at the model number. The second letter denotes the shaft length. S is 15", L is 20", X is 25" and U is 30." If in doubt measure length of midsection, that is bottom of cowling to where lower unit bolts up. That is where the shaft is located.....So a F150TLR would be a L, long shaft 20"....
This lower unit is in excellent condition. As a Yamaha 5 star technician, all lower units are opened up and inspected, components are checked that they are in factory specification. Anything out of spec is replaced and all lower units are re-sealed completely, pressure tested, and, if necessary, shimmed and backlash checked..... This lower unit is in perfect factory condition and ready for the water….
