Up for consideration, I have a lower unit taken from a 9.9 HP Evinrude 4 stroke. Its in good used condition. The gear oil is dark, not milky and I
didn't
see any metal shavings when I checked the oil. This should fit many years of the 9.9 and 15 HP evinrude/johnson 4 stroke engines.
