Description
Collins S-Line 75S-3B Receiver Round Emblem Serial #30811 Item #4027. This unit powers up and I was able to listen to AM transmitted from a local iCom 7300 on 3.5, 3.7, 3.9, 7.1, 7.3, 14.1, 14.3, 21.1, 21.3, 21.4 and 28.6 MHZ. I was also able to hear the time broadcast on AM 15.0 MHZ. I was able to hear LSB and USB transmitted from a local iCom 7300 on 3.5, 3.7, 3.9, 7.1, 7.3, 14.1, 14.3, 21.1, 21.3, 21.4 and 28.6 MHZ. I was able to listen to LSB station on 3.850 MHZ. I heard USB stations on 7.140, 7.155, 7.165, 7.205, 14.185, 14.270 and 14.330 MHZ. It has an installed filter. All of the crystals are the correct factory installed frequencies. All of the controls seem to work. The RF and AF Gain controls have a small amount of scratchiness. This cabinet is in very very good condition. There is one scratch on the top of the cabinet and a few chips around the hole on the top cover. The cover does not have any dings or dents that seem to be so common in these radios. I don't see any dents or scratches on the rest of the cabinet. The front panel is very nice. The insert for the tuning knob fell off when I was taking pictures of the unit. I'll include the insert so you can glue it back on. Both lights work. This radio was rebuilt by Collins Rebuilders in 2018. Auction includes the radio, power cord, what I believe is an original instruction manual. This is from an estate of a recent silent key. Radio sold as-is for parts. Thanks for looking!
